June describes a budget friendly method of getting from the international terminal at Perth airport to city centre. We spent the day in Nagasaki after leaving Hakata. We viewed the atomic bomb epicentre along with the peace park. Then viewed the 26 christen martyrs memorial, glovers garden and then had Chinese for lunch.
Nige & June visit the Hiroshima dome plus Miyajima island. Hiroshima dome is a place to pay your respect for the destruction the city suffered. Miyajima island is a wonderful place to admire and enjoy Japanese culture at its best.
We visit Izumo Taisha Shrine and then spend the evening in Tamatsukuri onsen, in a lovely onsen hotel. Izumo Taisha Shrine is the play to go to make special requests in life.
We went Walking across Rainbow bridge. Rainbow bridge can be walked both sides and is normally 30 to 40 mins to walk across from Tokyo to Odaiba or vice versa.
