Japan Rail Pass Exchange Order

Today was spent buying Japan Rail Pass Exchange Order at one of the local HIS offices in Perth. I will be travelling with June who is Japanese. Normally Japanese people are not eligible for the Japan Rail Pass, but for those who are living outside of Japan and are married to a foreigner exceptions can be made, normally if they display the foreign marriage certificate along with the application material. Now June and I were married in Japan and only have the Japanese version of the marriage certificate, which may or may not work depending on the person who processes the application. So we will be keeping our fingers crossed there is no issues with June’s application.
